The stories.

TWO STORIES

Two picture books, each grown from a season of watching children in the world. Read them slowly. Read them outside if you can.

A STORY OF WONDER

The Face in the Mountain

A boy discovers a face watching him from the side of a mountain, quiet, ancient, and somehow familiar. What begins as curiosity becomes a small friendship with the wild itself, and by the last page the mountain feels less like a place and more like a listener.

Themes: wonder, listening, belonging
Ages: 4–8

A STORY OF BELONGING

The Festival Shoes

Coming September 2026

A fairy child steps through an ancient stone doorway with borrowed shoes and a basket of small hopes, chasing a festival she has only heard whispered about. What she finds on the other side is larger than the festival, and the way home turns out to be a different door than the one she came through.

Themes: belonging, courage, homecoming
Ages: 4–8

The stories are one door in.

If a story stayed with you, there is a program behind it, and a person too. Both are worth knowing.
